Get Your Therapy Off to a Great Start

Here are a few pointers to make sure we can help you as quickly as we can.

  1. Be prepared for the first meeting. Answer these questions:
What symptoms and behaviors concern you?
What outcomes will let you know you have made progress in therapy?
What recent events in your life have been difficult to handle?

  2. Bring along the names, addresses, and phone numbers of any of these people who may be involved with your care:
         your primary doctor
your psychiatrist if you have one
         any past therapist(s) or psychiatrists(s)
ALL medications you take for any reason – names and dosages,
              including vitamins, bhrbals, and supplements
your lawyer if you are involved in any legal proceedings
your case manager if you have one

  3. Any documents which might be relevant and helpful, such as:
         insurance card
         previous psychological assessments
         medical evaluations
         relevant court orders
records from any psychiatric hospitalizations and past psychotherapy

All this information helps us to select the best Professional for you.
